HPMC mecellose cellulose ether is a nonionic surfactant and odorless, free flowing white powder. HEMC is characterized by hygroscopicity and can be dissolved in both cold and hot water. It has high thickening effect, excellent rheological properties, suspension, adhesion, emulsification, filming, watering and protective colloid
HPMC Properties.
1. Exterior: White or off-white powder
2. particle size: the passing rate of 80 mesh is 100% the passing rate of 100 mesh is more than 99.5%
3. Charring density:280-300℃
4. Apparent density: 0. 25-0.70g/cm(usually around 0.5g/cm), the proportion is 1.26-1.31
5. Thermochromic temperature: 190-200℃
6. Surface tension: 2% of aqueous solution is 42-56dyn/cn.
Appearance: White or quasi-white powder

Solubility: Soluble in water and some solvents, such as ethanol/water, propanol/water, etc. in appropriate proportions. The aqueous solution is surface active. High transparency and stable performance. The gel temperature varies with different specifications. The solubility varies with viscosity. The lower the viscosity, the greater the solubility. The performance of HPMC in different specifications is different. The dissolution of HPMC in water is not affected by pH.
