It is a semi-synthetic, inactive, viscoelastic polymer . It is also used as thickener, stabilizer, emulsifier, excipient, water retention agent, and film-forming agent etc.in producing petrochemicals, building materials, paint removers, agricultural chemicals, inks, textiles, ceramics, paper. cosmetics and other products.
